The 45th amendment of the Code of Practice from IFRA
The 45th amendment of the Code of Practice from Ifra is now on line and has been since July, 2010 at www.ifraorg.org.
The norms and “Code of Practice” from Ifra are strictly followed by the fragrance manufacturers.
The Ifra norms prohibit or limit the usage of substances entering into the compositions of the fragrances. The risks taken into consideration are: cutaneous allergy, photo toxicity, photo allergy and the systemic risk.
Ifra is not governed by legislation, the respect of the norms are not compulsory. The Laboratoires BEA have chosen to respect Ifra in their fragrances selection, a choice directed towards users’ security.
